Frontline of Ancient Diplomacy
고대 (8세기) 일본의 외교 최전선 코로칸
Tsukushi-no-murotsumi, a guest house for foreign diplomats, was an ancient gateway to the outside world. built near Hakata Bay in the late seventh century and later renamed Korokan. In 1987 the lodge ruins were discovered.
Archeological findings tell us that there were rows of fascinating tile-roofed buildings here as early as the eighth century. Visitors can immerse themseleves in the ancient times while walking around this historic park and the museum.
